I meet all of the requirements and strongly feel the Lord leading me to becoming a capuchin. Does being prescribed to medications stop me from becoming a friar? I have been prescribed for years now, due to my mental health. It keeps me very stable and I have been for many years. My day consists of volunteering with the poor, attending mass, and adoration. As well as praying my rosary frequently and reading go scripture. Just curious as to if there is anyone there who also has to take medication

Hello Fr. Curtis. Is there an age cut off point for aspirants? I have noticed that the vast majority of orders will only accept men up to the age of 40. Is this the case with Capuchins?

In SA, its difficult to find an suitable order without having the funds to visit each order, so one ends up not getting to the religious life and if one lacks favorable knowledge of an order in first visit, thats a kick out of the door unfortunately so maybe another visit the benedictines if i can scape up the money again.
