Marcus King plays a 1960 Gibson Les Paul affectionally nicknamed “The Barn Burst”. Once owned by a local farmer who’d unwind with some Lynyrd Skynyrd on his Peavey Roadmaster in his barn every night after a long day in the fields, this guitar has soul. Never circulated, one owner - A true gem!

I watch most of these Carter videos. The players are all amazing, but this guy Marcus King, he is on a level of his own. I don’t listen to his music or really know him so my opinion isn’t biased. The feel he has for the fretboard recalls some really powerful players and yet he has his own thing going. Bravo Marcus.
