update: I added an extra tick of delay to each repeater, and that seemed to solve the problem. THanks for the video, this is a great design.

Great design, this was a great inspiration to making my own pistonless counter. Sadly the server I play on has disabled pistons for a little while, so I had to find other ways!

this is awesome and infinitely usefull. I was going to use it in a big adventure map, but unfortuately, my computer is too laggy, and it doesn't update fast enough... oh well, getting a new computer, but nice job

Thank you for this vid. I have been looking for a counter that didn't use pistons and wasn't just a mass of T-FlipFlops. Hopefully I can use this to control input to my "hard drive" on my comp. XD

Also have you attempted to make this more compact by using the new redstone repeater update? (the one where you can power a redstone repeater with another repeater to lock it on)
