The Clippers lost Paul George in free agency and are rolling into their new arena with James Harden and Kawhi Leonard leading the way. This could be a horrible season for the Clippers and this is a look at what that means for the franchise going forward.

As a Toronto fan, I continue to be in AWE at how lucky the team got when it came to Kawhi. 1 season, where he was relatively healthy, AND had a major chip on his shoulder, and they won the title. Then he leaves, and he's been injury prone pretty much since. It was the ultimate "Right place at the right time" scenario.

This can be a hot take, but PG doesn't change too much. The most important player is still Kawhi. If Kawhi's healthy they can still a borderline contender even without PG. If Kawhi isn't healthy they don't win even if there's PG.
