Today we jump into the most talked about man in the NBA, Bronny James Jr. Now that he's officially been drafted and played a game as a Laker it's time to ask the question: Is Bronny James riding the coattails of his legendary father, LeBron, or does he have the NBA talent to back it up?

I don’t think it’s cool. He should’ve just played more in college while he recovered from a damn cardiac event. But his father was more concerned with his legacy and ego than what the league and his son actually needed.

It's abuse of power for sure just so LBJ can make history playing with his son in an NBA game.
- Now JJ Redick HAS to actually play Bronny & LBJ in a game. What happens after they make that historic moment? Does Bronny disappear to the G-league? Or does JJ have to continue finding him garbage minutes throughout the season to play with LBJ? The guard depth is crazy: Dlo, Reaves, Knecht, Vincent, Christie, Hood-Shifino, Bronny. Whose garbage time minutes he taking? It's just weird dynamics

If I can get my son a once in a lifetime job with me, that’s what the hell I’m going to do! Now how long that opportunity last is solely on him!

The Lakers probably lost a lot of respect from their fan base. They are acting like its a company business with 15 employees on this deal.

Right now it is nepotism. The lakers need to send him to g league and hope he develops. Not an NBA talent atm.

What bugs me more than anything, is Bronny took a legitimate draft spot of somebody who now needs to scratch & claw a lil harder for a team to look at them... Bronny could've gone undrafted, still would've ended up with the Lakers & not taken someone else's spot who not only earned it, but also a life changing opportunity for someone who was not already a millionaire... Nepotism is a part of life, it bleeds into every sector, but the last threshold that nepotism couldn't break was merit based jobs & I considered professional athletes a product of that, merit...

I think, sadly, Bronny James will forever has a asterisk next to his name because of how this has unfolded. And is pretty much in a no-win situation however his NBA career unfolds.

I don't know why Rich was telling temas to not draft him. It's not like any of them wanted Bronny in the first place.

2:40 Woj and almost everyone else at ESPN work for Klutch. It’s more a propaganda network for LeBron now.

Rachel... 100%! Now, I lived in Akron, Oh. when Lebron was in HS. I never even heard about him then and I've never been a fan. OK, maybe for a minute when he played for the CAVS. Since then NO! So, as a father, I would NEVER pave the way for my kids the way Lebron has. He is already handicapped enough by being your son! Make him put in the hard work to realize HIS dreams! Not Yours!

I think lebron have a right to take care of his son and the lakers know second round is no so much important so they pick lebron son but for me the problem is the coach i don’t know how lebron and lakers chose this coach

Bronny Defense is ready. And no one but top 10 picks come into summer league scoring a lot. He is the 55th pick. I know some #1 picks who didn't score much like Greg Odom who got picked over Kevin Durant. KD scored 30 a game for Texas in College by the way.

what tf did u expect, he's LeBron's son, so of course, he gets different treatment, The NBA made billions off his father's name, and you thought they were going to treat him like a random G League player. idk what reality world y'all live in.
