I appreciate the new discord logo tbh, it makes it a lot easier to put the logo on patches, and jackets and such, the original had too many small curves that are hard to interpret on jackets in particular.
But then again like everyone who's hopping on this trend is 10 years old looking to get the algorithm on their side

Ngl the first time I saw the new discord logo was in a meme, it was so bad that I thought it was fake.

I don't mind when companies change their corporate logos. What really grinds my gears is when UI elements get shifted around randomly after I've already built up a muscle memory in using the app.

Nice run, but there is some tips:

Instead make two selections make just one than duplicate and inverted it.

Use a different layer to make the selection's if u gonna use The paint bucket to fill. A even better suggestion is to use the "fill" option, in the "edit" tab, there's a shortcut, but I didn't remember.

Instead using the brush to erase, create a rectangle selection and fill it with the BG colour.

This gonna increase your time in a next run.
