Summers Says U.S. Needs to Invest in Pandemic Preparedness

Jul.09 -- Former U.S. Treasury Secretary Lawrence H. Summers, a Wall Street Week contributor, says that the public sector needs to start preparing for the next pandemic now while the attention is still on the global response to Covid-19. He says that investing in pandemic preparedness is the public sector equivalent of owning Amazon stock in the 1990s. He joins David Westin on "Bloomberg Wall Street Week.
