Local Historian, Dermot Power relates the story of the Battle for Waterford, in July 1922, between the Free State Forces and the anti-treaty IRA. He also relates how it impacted his own family into the 1970's, when his granduncle sent guns to the IRA in Northern Ireland.

Great video Dermot as always, presented evenly and great detail. It was good to do the video clip of the main positions on the quay as it is much easier to picture it.

O Allah, send a perfect prayer and complete greeting of peace upon our master Muhammad — the one by whom problems are solved, and anxieties are relieved, and needs are fulfilled, and aspirations are attained and good endings are received, and by whose noble face the clouds give rain — and upon his Family and Companions, with every glance and every breath, by the number of everything that is known to You. All praise be to Allah in every circumstance.
