I was SHOCKED to find out that, while hitting a lovely #9 & #7 on the Singles Charts in the U.K. and Canada respectively, "Dance Into The Light" stalled at a lowly #45 in the U.S. That sadly showed that Phil was slowly sliding out of his Imperial Phase where everything he touched turned to gold. Had this been released in the eighties, it would have been number one EVERYWHERE. It's one of the most upbeat, inspirational, irresistible songs of Phil's entire career. I never get tired of it.

"Dance" is definitely in MY top ten!

This man is amazing. The voice is instantaneously recognizable, and pitch-perfect, every note, every time. The harmonies are tighter than a clenched fist. Such an unerring sense of melody and harmony, arrangement, production, everything. It's really hard to point to a bad song he's recorded.

Made me feel like a human being and made me want to reach out again.I never thought i would be able to feel like this again, but something just ... opened, brightened inside my soul when i stumbled upon this song.
