Well for one raziel he believe the natural order like clary mom said the dead should be dead and look what happend when she resurect jace she make him vulnerable and its her fault that she make the wish maybe she should say bring him back as shadow-hunter with stong soul not vulnerable and also the angel they listen to the heigher order and the higher order is God they dont have feeling like us they beleive is right and wrong no matter the consequance because they are not human so its aqual so the angel took her power as gift that they give her in exchange for the wish

Honestly what if there was a bigger twist and Raziel was really a fallen angel supporter of Lucifer all along and he took Clary power away cause she was getting too powerful with it and it threatened their plans to raise lucifer. Edom was destroyed but we never sal Lucifer there he could be in a different verison of hell and Raziel could created the shadowhunters to be pawns in their army against God to retake heaven
