It's such a shame he didn't have a live band with him performing this on the day, it would have been mind blowing, this is such a great song, one of his best.

He IS singing!! The sound people sucked ass and had the mic volume too low for how loud the music/backing vocal track was. You can tell because there are times he draws the note out longer than the recording. Even if he was singing over the CD version he is still singing! He may not have had any control over how he was able to perform since he was clearly treated as filler! Pay the man some respect!
