Check out the 23Zero Bandit Swags here:

The roomy and reliable range of Bandit swags 23ZERO provide shelter for all kinds of adventures.

With three sizes available, all constructed from fully seam-sealed 400gsm proofed canvas, with heavy-duty HF welded PVC bucket floor for protection, a freestanding design for easy use, superfine mesh for ventilation, four-way entry for easy access, zip-down storm cover and all-weather awnings to guard against the elements and 70mm hi-density thick foam mattress for comfort – you can use these swags year-round for camping and touring.

In this video, the Snowys video team headed out into the field to give you a rundown on everything you need to know about the Bandit Swags from 23ZERO. Our gear guru Ben starts out with the sizes and what the difference is between them, then shows you the bag it comes with, the materials and construction, whether you need to season it or not, the doorways and awnings, and ventilation options.

After that, he jumps inside to give you an idea of how much headspace and sleeping space there is, and storage options for your gear and more – so check it out above for all the details.

Great video guys, i love these new gen swags. All i want now is this pole design but elevated off the ground (inbuilt stretcher) with a enclosed cabin space for my dog at ground level and im set!

I like these swags more than the Adventure Kings Big Daddy range because they don’t sag in the center section of the swag like the Big Daddy swags do . I hope that in the future 23 Zero make these type of
swag a foot or so higher, it would make it more comfortable for when getting dressed and sitting upright.

I like the old swag like my motorbike swag from the 90s just like a sleeping bag cover jump in and zip up no poles compact. Hard to find them these days

Great swags! Ive got an ARB double swag and I'm looking for a single, 900cm, swag. They seem very well made.

Love your videos guys. Had a couple questions/ queries. Firstly is whether you guys would be able to do a comparison video between the bandit swags and the dirty dees, looking at upgrading from a double hoop swag to one of these but scratching my head on which to pick and would love to see a vid or even a blog post comparing the two. Secondly, how do you guys reckon 2 fairly average sized people would fit in a 1100, or would it just be better to go with the 1400 over the sake of saving a couple bucks. Finally do you have a video or blog post with your recommendations for sleeping bag systems that go great in swags? (Bonus points if they zip together). Cheers and keep up the great work Ben and team

Hi Ben, could you please tell me if you had all the windows open on a hot summers night near the beach or river, would i get mauled by midgees and sandflys? Because if so, that would be a crap time to find out about it. Cause I assume rubbing insect repellent on the screen may not be good for it.

Hey mate, just received our swags from you guys today. With the bandit, there was an extra little pole around 15cm long and just slightly bigger in diameter than the curved poles. Are these needed? The swags set up perfectly without them, just wanted to check before getting rid of it. Cheers

Hi Ben, would you be able to fit a big with you in the 900? Or would it be best to go for the 1100? Also, how well do these swags roll down in terms of their overall size after packing up? Cheers

Hi there, is that a single ridge pole or is it to pieces to straighten the swag out?
Thanks for the video

Hi Snowys, i can't quite tell from the video ... on the 1400 are both ends the same height now? (compared to the dirty dee darche which tapers down) ... or is one side still slightly lower in head height?

Hi. Can you tell me if there is an option to open this up with one zip or do you have to use two zips every time? That is, can the canvas and flyscreen open together.

Quick question - I recently bought the 1100 Bandit and there was a short (maybe 5”) aluminium tube included with the hoop poles (same material) and I have no idea what this is for? Can you advise? Cheers Blake

Have they changed the design? This video says 65cm high for the 900, website says 85cm base to ridgepole, and it looks like the ceiling is pretty much ridgepole night
