My friends in the other states gets their unemployment assistance after a week. Why can’t this state buy the same machine and server used in other states? Like spending millions for something that wont work. I’m not an expert but I feel like there’s corruption going on in here.

Governor says they have call centers running, but they've never answered the phone in the hundreds, maybe thousands of calls I've made since mid-March.

The problem isn’t the people filling out the applications...the problem is the system and the people that CREATED the applications. This can’t be the only state where “applications are filled out incorrectly/ applications are incomplete”

The incomplete applications are from the constant failures of the system. Now an investigation in the middle of it. Would be something to look into after De Santis gets us paid especially the Federal $$.

In my own opinion it will be a federal Bureau investigation done on wire fraud . That deal Wireless transactions

The DEO website has a major pitfall besides being swamped;. Where it asks for an employer's federal ID. The format on many W-2's is but the box only accepts . There is no instruction to drop the "-" allowing room for the last digit

DeSantis neglected the problems with Florida Unemployment system prior to this pandemic. If you haven't received a notice of your claim or a call back.
I suggest you dislike this video because the additional call centers open haven't made a difference.

An investigation needs to be done at the federal level, not the state level. Letting Florida police itself is like letting the fox 🦊 guard the hen house 🐓

If and when someone is able to log on to Connect, the website disconnects in the middle of entering data of a form or clicking Submit. It doesn't matter how fast you enter the data. And this will happen over and over and over again, so you might spend 1/2 hour or more trying to do something that should take a minute. It's usual. And the website only is available during regular business hours, Monday to Friday, limiting access. The limited hours of available website is new since April; it was always 24/7 before. This situation is an organized crime by the Governor, purposely against Floridians.

On one hand i wander if it will slow down the payments even more and on the other hand it may speed up the payments but any way our money needs to come now not next week or next month but now

Blaming multiple applications, what a croc of crap. Call centers are worthless if they can’t help people with nothing more than applying. The call center people can’t tell you anything more than the status of your claim “under review” which you already knew before you even dialed the phone number. If you have an issue like being ineligible, they can’t assist you at all. Throwing people out there to answer a phone doesn’t solve anything.
