LIVE High Definition (HD) broadcast of the Greek Orthodox Matins (Morning Prayers)/Orthros and Divine Liturgy of Saint John Chrysostom commemorating the First Sunday of Luke.

The Greek Orthodox Church celebrates the First Sunday of Luke to honor Saint Luke, the author of the Gospel of Luke. Luke was a physician, and his Gospel provides a detailed, historically accurate account of Jesus' life and teachings. Known for its universal appeal, Luke's Gospel emphasizes salvation for all people.

In Luke 5:1-11, Jesus calls Simon Peter and his partners to become His disciples. After a miraculous fish catch, Peter, overwhelmed by his sinfulness, declares he is unworthy. Jesus assures him and calls him to follow Him. This event marks a significant turning point in their lives, setting the stage for their future ministry.

Our Eastern Orthodox service is conducted mainly in English and Greek, and LIVE is streamed from Saint Mark Greek Orthodox Church in Boca Raton, Florida.
