I'm an American and I've been pronouncing Oregano the right way, Americans say it's wrong since they pronounce it as "O-ray-guh-no"

Lol people in Florida peiple act like I'm speaking gibberish when I pronounce it the Spanish way lol as this is what I'm used to and find it unnecessary to say it in an English accent. Lol it almost sounds the same, I guess the problem is because I'm not saying it the English way.

Canadian here - pronounce it Or-REG-ano. Had no idea how wrong that was or how many people in the world you can offend by pronouncing the word that way. Probably not going to change that pronunciation at this point.
