Drakum - Urashima [Official Video]

Показать описание
New album "Zombie Dragons From Outer Space" available on January 31st.
Urashima is a song that talks about Urashima Taro, the protagonist of a Japasese old legend. We have done our own interpretation, dividing the story in two parts shown in Urashima’s song and it’s lyric and in a music video.
The song explains the first half of the legend of Urashima Taro, a young fisherman skilled and with a kind heart. One day, Urashima see three kids hitting a turtle on the beach. Due to hatred towards the violence, Urashima gives some money to the kids to stop doing it. Next day, while Urashima was fishing at the sea, the turtle appears and gives him thanks for the rescue. She is Otohime, the princess of a kingdom under the sea.
She takes Urashima to her kingdom to thank him for the help. After a few time, Urashima wants to return to his land and Otohime gives him the present of a box and asks him to please never open it.
The second part of the story is shown on the music video. It starts with Urashima arriving to a world that seems to be different to the one he comes. Hundreds of years have passed in this new world, and no family is still alive. Urashima is unable to adapt to this new era and goes crazy. Desperate, decides to open the box. Just opened, Urashima ages and dies. Inside the box was his youth.
Lyrics:
Once upon a time
There was a fisherman
Skilled and with a kind heart.
He was known cause
In his young life
He had never hurt anyone.
Wisdom makes us rich
Make us stonger!
Most heroic deeds
are done from the heart.
"I’m Urashima
There’s no fear in my soul
I don’t need a sword
‘cause my heart is so strong
Stop with this torture
and then leave me alone
Cause it's cruel
And it hurts
I will give it freedom"
The turtle you saved
Of those savage children
Will show you the way
To the magic kingdom
"I’m Urashima
There’s no fear in my soul
I don’t need a sword
‘cause my heart is so strong
Stop with this torture
and then leave me alone
Cause it's cruel
And it hurts
I will give it freedom"
In a journey
through the sea
He reaches the magic kingdom.
Home of the
dragon king.
The palace Rin Gin.
"I’m Urashima
There’s no fear in my soul
I don’t need a sword
‘cause my heart is so strong
Stop with this torture
and then leave me alone
Cause it's cruel
And it hurts
I will give it freedom"
