Paul, thank for the information you patiently shared. Being the M30t the best drone for Inspections, probably with the M300 you will have way more options being capable to bring a variety of payloads depending on the mission…(project) also having the same features for inspections than the M30t… are you agree that the M300 is a more complete and versatile drone for not only inspections but lots of different scopes than just inspections? Does it make the M300 a better drone than M30t?

I got my Matrice 30T and flew it. I was surprised that it flew way different that the Mavic 3/Enterprise 3T/Mavic 3 Pro/Mini Pro 3. Ilove it but I think it is really aimed at 2-person flight. That is where I see this drone shining. I am getting my second controller to enhance my experience. For exposure I have never flown FPV.

I had my whole drone unit replaced due to thermal sensor damage. They claim to have burn protection, but it is meh. For any daytime missions where I don't need thermals, I'll just cover the sensor with some tape.

I've been tasked with having to complete thermal inspections for several facilities for my employer. As a first time pilot, is this drone a good choice? I don't have the "luxury" as it were to get something like a Phantom 4, gain some flight experience, and then step up to this drone.... I get the chance to buy one drone.

Cool video, do you have any info on the actual downloading of files to IOS? After experiencing issues I contacted dji and they said the Bluetooth isn’t functional and doesn’t support iOS, only android. Any thoughts?

The M300 is definitely a pain in the butt to get around and do multiple jobs in a day. but doesn't the P1 have a 48 mp camera sensor? the M30 def seems like a move for the future and ease of getting through the day of multiple jobs. Mavic 3 E is a awesome to get around with ..

It’s a great drone but seems to be a couple of issues being ignored by dji and 3rd party retailers. The files can’t be downloaded directly to an iOS device and the Bluetooth is non-functioning. This information comes directly from dji. It will work with android / pc devices though.
