Oh, man! We have few things in common, both my family lines (dad's and mom's) weren't investing, not coming from riches, they also were many people living in one room. It has changed a bit when it was just our family of 4 but still, they didn't invest or have any amazing / "wow" careers. We're 2 kids, I'm the older and just like you, I want different life for us, responsibility is mine. Thanks and keep up the good work, it's amazing! Can't wait for the webinar. :)

Tom, which platform do you use for your research? I'm struggeling to find one with European stocks.

7-10% is average _nominal_ historical return for the market.
Individual investor return is lower than that due to human nature and non-optimal decisions.
And then there is inflation and taxes: if you are invested into the market making 10% and inflation is 10%, profit is realistically 0%. 🛀
