I worked at AIL 1972/1988. Now it is 2024 and still get my monthly renewals. 100% true!

The letters we send out literally say if you want supplemental life insurance to fill out this form and send it back no bait and switch. Yea some recruiters might over exaggerate but not all of them do that. The guy who recruited me makes over 500k I know this because I saw his tax returns. He said first year I’m looking at making $50k. There hasn’t been a single word about recruiting other agents or trying to recruit the leads since I started training. There are a few bad apples in every insurance organization, but if you have morals and a good work ethic you can be successful anywhere. This is the only insurance company that’s ever offered me free leads and 1 on 1 training like this.

I just started with AIL and they seem OK. No bait and switch that I have seen, no focus on recruiting and no high pressure sales tactics. It seems legit but again I am just starting off with them. So far the training has been good and I should be able to start making money right away.
Thanks for the video.

My foot was ALMOST in the door with AIL. Got my Life license, I was all excited..until they used the bait and switch tactic on me before signing any contracts to be hired. I immediately knew if they were doing this to me (an agent who wanted to be hired) then they'd likely want me to do the same to others. I walked away.

I have a second interview via Zoom tomorrow which I will be recording. They are now using AO International and calling the position "benefits coordinator" I'll let you know how it goes.

I’m currently in the hiring process of AIL. And my recruiter was completely honest about how difficult things would be in the beginning, and I did actually get a script to memorize and follow. He explain how much I could possibly make in my first year, and it was not as high as 100k. But he did say there is an average of possibly 50k. He was very transparent about the process and how they do things, and ask if I was interested.

Globe AIL. Is not a scam or a bad job, Is it hard job or hard to adjust yes ? But at the same time it is easy and simple you gotta do the work like any other job

This is exactly the same experience I had with AIL. I was sold on the fact that you were given leads that were free based on the marketing efforts they did to receive them. Once you get into the training you see realize it was nothing more than the bait and switch. I knew it was going to be a hard pass for me at that point.
The salesman was really good at selling me on the commissions earned by others just as the guy mentioned and it was complete BS. I’m sure there are some that are doing well but not many using that tactic.
One guy that seemingly was doing well had telemarketers to call on his behalf and set up the appointments for him. I’m not sure if they were upfront about what the call really entailed but we were told he had great sales in the meetings. However, knowing how they operate now I wouldn’t be surprised if it was a complete lie.
The beginning to a complete waste of time.
I could go on with my current situation as well that I am finding out is another ploy on a different level that is equally disappointing.
Bottom line is you better be ready to do the work and beat the pavement like the good old days!
It’s not for the weak and lazy.
PS Buying leads is a bunch of crap as well!

I’m loving it, and I struggled a lot at the beginning and stuck with it and my mentor Mike helped me every step of the way and never gave up on me.

Working with them now. Outside of one email from the company I haven't really been encouraged to recruit people to work for them. The initial presentation said i would make $648 a week, but that's a bonus if i get a certain amount of sales. Main reason i looked into this is because I just spoke to a guy who told me he had a Whole Life policy, but he canceled it when the rates were raised on him, however it didn't cancel until it depleted the cash value to pay for the premiums. Truthfully i like presenting the no-cost benefits, but I'm not getting a lot of sales, so i feel like i'm wasting my nights. Looking into work that actually pays me for the work i do.

I haven’t yet started with them, I sit for my exam tomorrow. So far I have experienced the opposite! My "recuiter" if you could call him that was super upfront about the work you need to put in to be successful. He showed me the training schedule and said "I know this schedule won't work for a lot of people" he gave me MULTIPLE opportunities to say I wasn’t interested! There was NO pressure at all to join. He also shared a personal story about how broke he was his first year etc.... It seems to me you got a bad apple...but we'll see. I'll try to remember to come back and update once I've had all my training etc.

Reminds me of the "leads" I got when I briefly tried walk in bathtub sales. They advise Medicaid "may" pay for your walk in tub. They know this is false. Then they send out an agent who is 100% commission to these appointments. The clients are not home or are expecting something free. They have this routine where you are supposed to spend 4 hours on the sales process wearing them down. The tub starts out at $25k. Then they offer last years model for maybe 15k and offer financing. It's a very difficult sale and even if they agree, they may get financing denied. Horrible business model, but they are making a killing.

Yeah this infromation is incorrect, NO bait and switch- it CLEARLY states on the forms that they fill out, they have access to life insurance options and that theyll be going over them.

First of all, this commentary is on the child safe ID kits which is one market type American income life serves They serve the unions credit unions veterans markets and no cost law will kits. Anyone who decides they "dodged a bullet" after watching a very jaded one sides youtube video, doesn't deserve the opportunity because there are agents making a lot of money from home and the policies are actually very good..no one complains when they need to make a claim.

I Made 130, 000 in 2023 and started in March.

Have made 100k YTD in my second year YTD (2024) I’m with AIL AO (altig)

Majority of this is from personal production. The work has to be done, but 100k in this business should not be difficult considering you can make 700-1500 each sale with no lead cost.

Not many agents hit $100, 000 K / You do not try insurance-insurance try’s you / There is a lot to learn/ I worked for a company that gave us a salary and benefits. Also we had a book 📚 of business and was there long enough to get vested - Western Southern Life

REMEMBER ITS ALWAYS THE TOP HIGHER PEOPLE IN DIFFERENT AGENCIES OF SAME COMPANY- they teach you what they want to some go for quick rich schemes, some go for providing the value to the customers and that’s how you do the business.

READ THIS: If you’re with a bad agency, your experience will suck. No matter if it’s AIL or another one. The job is hard work but that’s sales no matter what. This video is making AIL look like it’s a scam, that’s not true. The guy being interviewed here, looks like he gets emotional very quickly. That’s not going to work for him for ANY SALES CAREER.

I totally dodged a bullet with this company. I did some research ahead of time and watched an earlier DIG agency video on this.
I also wish to point out that lead vendors when buying leads use bait and switch tactics that are less than truthful or ethical and end up being an embarrassment to the agent when you reach out to what you think is a bonafide lead.

My mother worked on a life insurance policy through AIL and she passed away close to two months ago.

I've received nothing back from them after that policy was turned in.

If that's not legit, what is?
