True, That reminds me of firing the slow shutters (< 1/30s) on my Rollei 35S and 35SE. They will get sticky otherwise.

true or nor, i still fire my shutter occasionally just because i like the feeling of winding the lever xD

That sounds like my digital Pentax AF lenses as well. The AF doesn’t work until I twist the focus ring a few times and the lens warms up. 😂😂

Yeahh, I bought a camera that was probably sitting for a veryyyy long time and so the aperture blades do not budge one bit. I tried getting into the lens to clean them but the screws were also extremely stuck (used rubber bands, tried using solutions, even heating the screws, nothing!), so my lens is only shooting wide open.
