Pathetic an iconic character like Les only has 7 people at his wake what a disgrace

Its a discrace 100%, I admit what Bruce did was silly but he was still human we all make mistakes. For an iconic character to be killed offscreen out the blue randomly is a disgrace, its a perfect example that todays writers have got nothing better to do or create any more great stroylines. Les The Legend gets a miserable send off .. none of the coronation street characters or neighbours .. The send off should have been in the Rovers .. not the soulless bistro. Paul’s funeral went on for weeks.

The entire episode should have been dedicated to King Les. Nobody cares about Sarah Platt keying Debbie Webster’s car or Shona and Kit’s affair

Les Battersby was incredible character and he will be missed and I remember when Les first started out back in 1997 as a bit of a villian and a bully and a bad guy similar to Billy Mitchell from EastEnders and later on Les mellowed down into a loveable buffoon comedy character I think around in 2001 correct me if I'm wrong ir right. But it's similar how they changed Fred Elliott, Steve McDonald, David Platt, Dev Alahan, Roy Cropper and Kirk Sutherland into buffoon comparing their early appearances.

Why is Kirk Sutherland wearing Les Battersby clothes that was funny. I remember Kirk being quite different in his early appearances before he became a buffoon clown comedy character. His surname is like Paddy Kirk from Emmerdale lol.

Absolutely pointless story and a waste of a iconic character who they could’ve had back as a guest rather than needlessly killing him off off-screen (won’t be surprised if it’s retconned but probably not)
