CELJE SLOVENIA 🇸🇮 UNDERRATED Slovenia City

Mor Acro goes on a Celje Slovenia city walk. While smaller than Ljubljana, Celje holds many of the same charms as the ancient Roman city. On this city walk we explore markets, a Slovenian food restaurant, as well as tropic house(tropska hiška). Stari pisker has excellent steaks and bbq Slovenia food. We enjoyed the quietness of Celje compared to the business of Ljubljana, the capital city of Slovenia. Hope you enjoy our Slovenia travel video as we gear up to get ready to go to Morocco.

well for all who wants to visit this town. Across that river and a bit to the right, there are still remains of Roman temple, btw ;) This town has lot more history than it looks on the surface. That old city tower he showed was part of city walls. There are 3 or 4 still standing. In one of them its actually theatre. On this particular one in this video, there is figure of a man pointing his finger to the level of water when that river flooded in some year in 16th century or earlier ;) Counts of Celje competed with Habsburg's for control of Europe. Celje was kind a really really strong town/city in 13th/14th century. The city was founded by Celts, that's where its name derived from Celts. It was called Celeia in Roman times. Cheers!
