Admitting she was surprised by reports that the Office of the Vice President spent its P125 million confidential funds in a matter of 19 days in December 2022, House appropriations vice chair Stella Quimbo reveals that the amount was, in fact, spent in a span of 11 days, citing COA records.

Could it be possible that Sara gave away Christmas gifts in the form of cash in that December of 2022 and felt certain that that can't be traced because anyhow, these are "confidential funds" and she cannot be compelled to divulge because these are confidential or secret? Another thing, why is Sara so cocksure that the congressmen will give her confidential/intel funds to the extent of saying "bahala na ang mga congressmen sa kanyang CIF funds". Was it because she had already given them the necessary "padulas"?

Now, Congresswoman Stella Quimbo is singing in a different tune because she can no longer lawyer the OVP. And she is now losing her credibility and support from the people who voted her for where she is now. She now understands that she can lose in the next election if she keeps on blindfoldedly depending the OVP on how they acquired and spent the P125M Contingent Fund in just 19 days and now became 11 days. There's a lack of accountability and transparency. Yet, some people blindly accept these delusions, believing the leader they support is doing well. They request substantial funds that aren't utilized and aren't audited by the COA. The President doesn't even have a say in this.

If the OVP can't disclose how she spent 125 million in 11 days, and experts and people in relevant positions have already declared that the money was not used, why can't the OVP provide a detailed explanation? Does the OVP think she can just get away with it? This is one of the worst administrations when it comes to financial management.
