Chancellor Rishi Sunak says there will be no return to austerity in his spending review on Wednesday.

Mr Sunak did not deny reports that he could impose a pay cap on millions of public sector workers, but said decisions had to be taken "in the context of the wider economic climate".

Borrowing in October hit £22.3bn due to the cost of the pandemic, with public sector debt over £2 trillion.

No, just starvation, drug abuse, loss of jobs e.t.c. The young have really been done over with these restrictions for something with an average age of death of 82.

Rishi Sunak, his father was a GP, his mother ran a local pharmacy, brother is a psychologist and his sister works as the COVID-19 United Nations engagement and strategy lead at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office. Rishi worked for Goldman Sachs and his networth is estimated anything from 200m to 2.5bn. He also married a billionaires daughter. For this man to stand there and say it's "tough for everyone" is an insult.

I swear she asked the same question 10 times in a slightly different way. If he won't answer the 3rd time he probably won't the 10th!

The patience of the British public is wearing thin. There's an entire population and only a handful of them. Remember that.
