Replacing a Screen on a Newer Laptop Requires a Steady Hand

In this video I replace a screen on a Asus ROG g512 laptop. When replacing screens on these newer laptops it takes a really steady hand. Bezels and screens are getting thinner as technology progresses. Watch this video before tackling a screen replacement on newer laptops. I am not a huge fan of that type of tape as its easy to snap when pulling on them.
Looks like a simple enough screen to replace though, mines a Asus laptop so least I know it should be simple to do if needed.
Thanks for the video

Can some one explain to me that using tape is progress over using a few screws. great job Tim as always.

I guess there's a special swing you're supposed to use when throwing things at your laptop screen! 😊

Awesome video but I do have one question is the adhesive tape really necessary and couldn’t the laptop bezel hold the display in place although it could be necessary to prevent having to remember to hold the display when you remove the bezel to prevent it from falling so who knows but I believe if someone happens to break the adhesive tape it could be possible to just purchase some more of it on amazon unless if something is different from the amazon adhesive tape than the tape on the laptop display
