the plot of the reboot is focusing on justin, and everyone else will have reoccurring roles most likely. on the waverly podcast, i believe they gave us a plot leak which is that justin and a few wiztech kids are in serious trouble and n they turn to alex for help

This is actually being promoted as a "sequel, " and not a reboot, per se. . .and the fact that there are brand new characters and a brand new set is fine. The problem is that the premise of this followup is very weak, and THAT'S why this show will be a disaster. Ultimately, it's the WRITING that will make or break ANY show, be it sequel, reboot, spinoff, and/or original pilot.
Although, Selena Gomez will only be appearing in the pilot episode, she will continue as one of the executive producers of the show, and I hope she will direct and/or write for the show as well.
Perhaps, this series should be retitled "Only Wizards In The Building."😉 😁

Some of y’all don’t know the difference between a reboot and a spin off. They’ve said from the beginning this is following Justin as an adult so of course it’s gonna be a mostly knew cast. We just know for a fact we won’t get OG Zeek cause he went to OF 🤣

1 . people need leaner the deference before a reboot, remake and a continuation . Reboot is when they bring back some of the characters new characters to tell a new story . Remake is when they just remake the whole story again . A continuation is when they bring back the same characters and pick up where they’re are now in there lives .
2. I’m sure old characters will make a cameo through out the season . This are just photos from the pilot .
3.this story is gonna follow Justin and his family .

Ok I need to let this be heard. It is not a reboot exactly, and if you read any articles on it it says it’s about Justin and his family. This is almost like young Sheldon type stuff, but it’s in present day, not the past. The show is focused on Justin. Disney isn’t “ruining it.”
