Beat saber unity update controller setting comparison

Показать описание
This video (loosely) shows a comparison in the difference between controller settings comparing 1.29 beat saber and 1.37.
The left replay shows 1.37, the right 1.29.
Do note that the right replay was played almost 4 months ago, however I haven't changed my base game settings for roughly a year and a half now, so I've been used to them for a long time.
COUNTERPOINTS:
C1: The degredation in your score could be explained by how long its been since you've played it.
A: I doubt it, I'm pretty consistent when it comes to setting the same if not ever so slightly (I'm talking in the double digits) lower score on replays than my top score on maps. It's also not helped that I am swinging exactly the same as I always have and am not using an alternate grip (I use default index grip)
C2: It doesn't look like anything changed with the positions!
A: It's hard to tell unless you've experienced it yourself, I play on the Valve Index with the Knuckle controllers, so it's way more noticeable than someone that plays on a Q2 with default settings for example.
This is not helped by the fact I left a chroma key on and the lower scores on my HSV appear gray instead of yellow or red, I couldn't be bothered to re-render this recording since it took 20 minutes and I just wanted to shit out this video quickly.
C3: Couldn't you just fix your settings?
A: Yes, if I wanted to spend a few hours learning easy offset, watching replays, and spending time tweaking settings to become more like my old ones I could. I simply do not have the time or motivation. I play semi-casually, I do set ranked scores every now and then but for the most part I play this game casually and just to have fun, I can't be bothered to go out of my way to fix something that shouldn't be broken in the first place. Also if it wasn't obvious I use the base game setting adjuster entirely, no easy offset or sabertailor.
C4: Just update and quit complaining, people like you are holding beat saber back!
A: No.
