She looked at you with sleepy eyes dwelling deep into the sadness that consumed yours. She curled up on the mushroom, her wings glistening in the moonlight "it's okay to cry.." she muttered to you peacefully
(If you are sad, remember that it's okay to cry)

6:18

“Chrissina, let me go.” The fae sobbed. Chrissina kept one arm around him, and with the other, reached for the basin of water, and brought it next to her.
“Your hair is disgusting. I can’t send you back looking like that.”
“You can. You should. You must.”
“Stop whining and let me clean it for you.”
“No!”
She didn’t listen and reached behind her to snatch a pillow off the couch. The fae was too dreary to stop her from guiding his head to the pillow in her lap, or to stop her from dipping his hair into the basin.
With lithe fingers, Chrissina began to unknot his hair in the water, a task which proved to be more challenging than it first seemed.
Several times, the fae tried to escape her, and several times Chrissina put a hand on his chest and forced him back down. Eventually, his feeble attempts to flee dissolved into weeping.
“Why are you so upset?” She murmured, “if I wanted to hurt you, I could have.”
“You shouldn’t help me.”
“Why, do you think you’re worse than I am?”
“I don’t want to confess.”
“Then don’t. You aren’t going anywhere, ” Chrissina sighed, and ran a soapy hand through his hair, rinsing it with clean water. “You’re staying right here, with me.”
“Let me go. I can look after myself.”
“Yes, look at you.” She finished rinsing his hair, twisted the last of the water out, and moved the basin away, “you’ve done so well for yourself, haven’t you?”
“Stop it.”
“Haven’t you done well for yourself, Valentine?”
The fae stiffened and sat up suddenly with renewed strength and turned to face her with a look of wild horror.
“What did you call me?”
“Your name. Valentine.”
She knew.
She knew everything.
Valentine tried to scramble away. His efforts were pitiful, but he evaded her grasp and slipped through her fingers until he was huddled against the side of her bed, just across from the fireplace.
She knew he was the shadow in the night; the one she’d caught snooping in Dollina’s apartment; the one she’d pressed up against the wall and kissed ravenously in her grief.
She knew what a wicked thing he was.
She knew he was the one who hated her more than life itself, and yet, she had no qualms about pulling him from the ditch and washing his hair, and his feet, and his body.
She knew he deserved none of the kindness she had shown him. And yet, she showed it anyway.

There's a part two if anybody wants!
