"Do you have a quarter? You'll get it back when you return the dish." I'm wrecked! And the wine glass! To be fair, Big Lots does sell a fair amount of real groceries.

I used to work at Dollar General. stuff would always show up in random places. usually after you had reported that you were out. That was spot on! lol. And they never allow enough payroll to keep someone at the register.

To Big Lots: "You're still here?" 😂 That's true! Ryan was dead on as Dollar General 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

The Dollar General part was spot on. When you go to check out, the cashier is either stocking shelves somewhere deep within the store, mopping something up oblivious to anything around them, talking on their phone behind some display or smoking a cigarette outside, and they seem either surprised or aggravated when they finally see you after five minutes or so of you waiting patiently.

4:29 Truly the best sponsor that this channel has ever seen. Sure, Old Man Blair's is always great for elevating proper BBQ pulled pork but everyone knows its fantastic "secret" is preventing everyday chafing, if you know what I mean. The flavor changed when they switched to plastic containers but no one believes me except people my age. I keep two open bottles on hand and one at the back of the cupboard hidden away so I never accidentally run out. I will never forget the Summer of '72 when there was a nationwide shortage. I still get PTSD flashbacks and occasional nightmares: Despite my careful rationing that year, I ran out and couldn't get any for two straight weeks in July. Never again.

I've never been to Big Lots or Aldi but Dollar Generals are everywhere in my area and I am proud to say that that is my exact experience whenever I go in any of those stores
