Nice review and nice product, but we have 2 lesser-costing Vornados. One cost $59.99 and the other cost $79.99. They both have the same power levels and wattage as this $150 unit and also cover a 250 sq ft room. The major difference is aesthetics and the remote. This unit is very chic and suave, but I think I’ll stick with our 2 units.

This is a nice heater, but I couldn't let go of $150 for a heater. I ended up going back to my old Lasko remote heater.

To choose an heater you must know the surface you have to warm up, in Europe we use 100w of heater per square meter of room , ex : for a 10 square meter room, to warm up we use a 1000 w heater , electric individual heather or furnace with hot water radiators ( called central heather ) .

Excellent explanation. We just got this unit because it rated highest at Consumer Reports (This one got 86). You might want to add on a short piece about the two buttons on top. However, the booklet is very clear. Thanks for the review.

Some incorrect information. The case is metal in all of them, the 600 is stainless and the 500 is painted steel.

I love Vornado products. Been looking at this model. I think it also has a temperature LED ring that changes hue to let you know at a glance how much energy consumption is used while getting it up to the preset temp. The back has a screen mesh that acts as a filter and can be wiped or vacuumed.
