Simon's Lullaby

I wrote this song for our infant grandson Simon, born November 30, 2023. The familiar melody is from a popular 1960s song by Tom Paxton. One night while holding Simon--just a few days old--in the early hours of the morning, the melody came to me, but with new lyrics. The vocal and guitar were recorded in one (rough) take in their downstairs bathroom. (We were all sleep-deprived.) I added the other tracks with GarageBand when Liz/"Mima" and I got home. So, I must attribute the inspiration of the song to Tom and Simon. Thank you!
