This Is It... Our FULL 4 and a half year house renovation from start to finish all compiled into one 40 min MEGA video edit! When we first bought this house back in July 2019 we had plans to update and renovate this old English cottage, but a global pandemic, material shortages and cost increase made this a much bigger project than we first thought! WE aim to do the majority of the work ourselves on quite a tight budget, and we believe we have turned this old, tired and run down cottage into a future proof family home. Phew !! that takes me back fifty years to my first house renovation . I am now, fifty years later, on my seventh house renovation, surprise surprise it’s a bungalow. All done, no more renovations, I’m just going to sit in the garden and listen to the birds.

I am beyond amazed at the enormity of what you had taken on, to begin with, and what you ultimately achieved on your own as complete renovation neophytes. Stunning. You even basically architecturally redesigned your space and were able to fit it all out with brand new technology while doing each stage properly and cost effectively. Interesting build. You definitely modernized this house. I just wished you would have kept more of its original charme like the beautiful wooden floors, the winter garden or the brickbuilt fireplace. But then again, as you said, its your home only you have to live in with your own personal design
