Hassan Jahangir is a Pakistani pop singer. He gained fame in the 1980s with hit singles such as "Hawa Hawa", "Hato Bacho", and "Shadi Na Karna Yaron". He released his first single "Imran Khan is a Superman" in 1982 and went on to release his one and only internationally famous album Hawa Hawa. It sold approximately 15 million copies in India.

This was my favorite song when I was 8 years old. Once we were walking towards home in R.K.Puram new delhi when it came on CHITRAHAAR. I could hear it on on T.V sets playing in homes (govt. quarters) all around near by. So i danced all the way to home. But by the time we reached the song was over. I was crazy about this one. It has a magical feel to it. I am 42 now but still this song gives me a high 😄
