None of the margarine in tub have any Trans Fat, on top of that it has Mono and Polyunsaturated fats which are good for you. Also our bodies dissolve food by chemical process and not "melting" it - otherwise question would be, at what temperature bread or meat melts if you will. Not very convincing conclusion from the video.

Vegans are upset that you don’t like putting plastic on your toast aka margarine. 😉

It’s made from natural oils and fats. Why do you compare it to plastic?
What do you think of ghee as a “butter fan”?

Never have liked margarine. It's as if I am missing something good in the mashed potatoes. Thanks for the information.

2:39 No! No one should be having almond butter or other pretend butters either! It's just as bad as margarine! It's just a different "bad." Just have REAL BUTTER! It's not going to kill you! In fact, it's going to keep you alive!

Don't "Take Control Light" and "Promise Active Light" have some cholesterol-lowering properties?

Advantages of margarine: spreadable from a fridge, economical, different fresh flavors. But I still need butter to add to meals like potatoes or porridge. Then the jar or margarine would last me a month if I only used it on bread. I've not bought margarine in ten years, and I don't even know which kind to pick. A brick of butter is mostly the same regardless of brand.

I pay no attention to hydrogenation and trans-fats. I don't recognize those things by taste. They may be convincing technical words to attract customers or get the government to ban products from the competition. Never bought margarine because it was allegedly healthy.

I thought margarine was "melted" in fridge temperature, or at least one of the components was. A cake or cocoa spread with vegetable oil most definitely is melted and unappealing at room temperature, and needs to be treated like ice cream.

Apparently there was a baking margarine in America for a long time called "shortening".

Margarine is just one chain reaction from being plastic. Yuk disgusting! Grass fed butter and Ghee are the best.
