We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional.
You will need a scientific background and experience in regulatory processes for chemicals management.
Your job will be to lead and organise the work of the Committee to deliver fit-for-purpose opinions.
Our committees form the regulatory scientific basis for the EU to take decisions on harmful chemicals.
The Biocidal Products Committee prepares scientific opinions on chemicals used in biocidal products and on their EU-wide approval – for example disinfectants, preservatives, and pest control products.
It has a key role in supporting regulatory decision-making under the Biocidal Products Regulation, which impacts peoples’ health, the environment and entire industry sectors.
