Hey Rafael, quick question … When do I set the height and azimuth is it before I swap the red and black pin for the first time. I think I missed that information.

Hi Rafael, I miss the information about how can we adjust the hight of the point of view (the red pin)? E.g.: I want to determine the postition of the moon on the image seen from the top floor rather than from the ground. We do something similar with the black pin elevation: we position the black pin on the foot of a tower and then at the time of plan "find" function add the tower hight to adjust the targeted moon elevation.

Hi raphael, is there a way in photo pills to measure the height of our subject so as to accurately place the moons height in the sky

I'm sure the Photo Pill creators could explain this better but two items for others new to PhotoPills:

1) Read the book! Photo Pills is the Swiss army knife of photography when it comes to the sun, moon, galactic center. I just discovered the "Find" feature below the time bar.

2) Panel 1 has a shadow length calculator. So if the light house is 500 ft tall and you want the sun at the very tip, you can use this feature along with the process described in this video to find where to stand in both dimensions.
