🍨Here’s the written recipe to those who are wondering:🍨
( makes about a gallon and a half of ice cream)

3 1/3 cup of sugar
2 tbsp of flour (regular cereal spoon)
8 beaten eggs
1 can of evaporated milk
From the looks of it might be 1 tbsp of vanilla extract (I might be wrong)
Put mixture to a boil, strain it and add whole milk till it fills the ice cream canister (note :the amount of whole milk needed depends what machine your using to make ice cream…just fill to the brim)

Also for the duration of time( which I don’t really know how long) for the ice cream to fully churn to perfect consistency will depend again what machine your using! Hope this helps😁

I remember when I was little, my family use to always make homemade ice cream. We’d put it in a coffee tin and put ice in a bigger can tin around it and roll it around. Lol. I completely forgot about this til now.
Also, Dylan! Your grandma is the sweetest for sharing such an old family recipe with all of us, that is such a nice thing to do! I’m going to TRY to make it.

It would be really cool to see some photos of your grandmother selling her ice cream. The town that I live in has a ice cream parlor that's been in business for over a hundred years.
At one of our local museums there is a stagecoach horse buggy on display that the ice cream company used to sell their ice cream out of, before we had automobiles.
