Kenobi Anime Opening - 'Kakai Kitan' (Jujutsu Kaisen OP)

I did NOT animate this: all credit goes to Star Wars Kids and their series Star Wars: Galaxy of Adventures.

I basically got the urge of wanting to create/edit an OP surrounding one of my favorite Star Wars characters, Obi-Wan Kenobi, combining it with the OP to my favorite anime this season. Figured "why not" since there was more than enough footage.

3 whole years later and one of my favorite Star Wars edits is still alive thanks to you guys! You’re all the greatest community an editor could ever ask for.

In the span of these 3 years, I’ve managed to write and complete the first novel in a planned sci-fi epic fantasy trilogy, set in a universe where the sun has random periods of slumber which can last decades. He lost his master, the padawan he loved like a son passed to the dark side and tried to kill him, the only girl he loved was killed by the same guy that killed his master, but he never felt on hatred and always respected the jedi code. Obi Wan is the best Star Wars character so far. Its impossible to hate that character.

I love how in 1:15 the japanese translates to "The world is quietly waiting for this moment" and the scene it shows is Leia telling Obi-wan that she's his only hope, the literal beginning of this grand saga

Obi's story is so sad. He was a true Jedi. He lost everyone he ever loved and never turned to the dark side. Never even tempted. And he lost his master, he had to fight his student who was like his little brother to the death. The love of his life was murdered right I'm front of him. The order that he put his whole life into was destroyed.
