The subtle hints of him projecting questions, asking him how he has been, so that maybe he can be asked how he is doing. But also giving his belongings to him before he left, really makes it more emotional and true. Great message to everyone about mental health.

The first time you watch it, the ending blindsides you. If you watch it a second time, you see all the hints; him constantly asking how life has been for his buddy to ask the same, him stating "well, I hope things are better outside of the football, " and him finally leaving behind his prized possessions with his friend.

Powerful storytelling.

How is it that despite billions of pounds of taxpayer money, our government can’t produce something as authentic and meaningful as this. Incredible message, Norwich. Thank you and well done.

"Well, that was worth it." Staying around a little longer just to see the game.

I am not easily moved and usually people think i lack emotion, but this video when it ended made me cry like a baby. I guess it hit a sweet spot.

My brother committed suicide 3 months ago I found him and I never saw it coming. We are American football fans and for the first time in 25 years I went to the home opener without him. All the fans around us noticed that he was not there as my grandpa has had those seats for almost 60 years. We laid down my brothers Steelers jersey and everybody knew. They all gave their apologies.

I am one of the funny, always positive guys. I was diagnosed with depression and am struggling with it. Not even my wife noticed until I opened up. There are people who care and will help you. Take the first step, you have nothing to lose. As a friend, ask how someone is doing. Your gut feeling is often there for a reason. Small actions can have huge impacts.

I lost my best friend 5 years ago. Not a day goes by that I don’t think of him. Thank you for this video and its powerful message.

So proud of our football club and this message.

Notice the one who struggles with reality/depression is the one who engulfs himself in the fantasy world of sports more so than any of the other fans. That was his escape. Sports are powerful, but not as powerful as the message this video delivers.
Well done!

Really really clever. At first it seems amateurish because you think you know where it’s going, but it totally caught me off guard at the end. Watching it twice makes me appreciate the genius of this storytelling. Well done Norwich City for this, nobody’s asked them to do it and they’ve banged it 👏 👏

Cried like a baby to this. My mother constantly worries about me. I tell her everytime. "Mom i tell you my sadness as it comes. You need to worry about the ones that are smiling." im already bent and bruised, im flexible and move with the pain because ive dealt with it for a decade. But those that smile and ignore it because they cant process it are the ones we need to protect because if you dont bend you WILL break.

As with real life, it's the second watch that hits hardest...when you realise there were signs there...the fact he was trying to communicate...and then the way he gave away his scarf...the "Nah, you keep it mate" and the shoulder hug was his way of saying goodbye, followed up with the "That was worth it", like he was hanging on for one good game, like it was his "Shampoo and Conditioner" moment. So moving and powerful! Everyone needs to see this! Thank you Norwich FC for producing this!
Especially with men in the UK, we are so still instilled with the "Stiff upper lip", "grin and bear it", "man up" and "grow a pair" attitudes, that we don't talk to someone until it's too late.
Talk to people...make sure they are doing ok...it can make all the difference, even when they seem ok 😢

I won't even lie I was watching this half way through thinking 'It's making it clear the guy on left is depressed/anxious but I'm more like the guy on the right and wouldn't it be nice just for it show a video showing the other side of the coin'.. soon as he placed the scarf down for him I balled my eyes out. I'm a 25 year old lad just starting counciling sessions for my depression and other stuff, but most people have no clue because around people I can't stop talking and seem to have mounds of energy, thankyou Norwich FC. From the bottom of my heart.

It absolutely breaks my heart that it took us this long to realize how much so many men are hurting.

Norwich, you may not be an elite level club with loads of trophies, but you did what Real, United, Liverpool, Bayern or even Barça never had the guts to do, to do something beyond football, and that makes you an even more astounding and special club in my eyes. Respect from an Arsenal fan thousands of miles away ❤️💛
