If you ever happen to capture The A Team, don’t ever lock them in a barn filled with random vehicles, tools, machinery and assorted useful materials 👌🏻

My parents ran a company that sold Rainbow vacuum cleaners.

Dwight Schultz was one of their salesmen. He came back to visit and he gave me a signed hat by the team.

I wish I still had it. 😢

In 1972 a crack commando
unit was sent to prison
by a military court for a
crime they didn't commit.
These men promptly
escaped from a maximum
security stockade to the
Los Angeles underground.
Today, still wanted by the government,
they survive as soldiers of fortune.
If you have a problem,
if no one else can help,
and if you can find them,
maybe you can hire: the A-Team.

The A-Team remains one of my fave 1980s TV series. Its said that the series was created specifically for Mr. T and he was paid $80, 000.00 per episode.
Col. John Hannibal Smith, Amy Allen, B. A. Baracus & Gen. Hunt Stockwell (from Season 5).
Amy was definitely easier on the eyes than Tawnia Baker. Its arguable if Ms. Culea had 'bad blood' with George Peppard, as Stephen J. Cannell & Frank Lupo created the series and characters. Its said a reason Amy was eventually written off was that Melinda Culea wanted to be in more action oriented roles, given she's a reporter that would've been very difficult to do; a potential story might have been to have Amy kidnapped to draw out The A-Team to a showdown.
Another one of Mike Post's memorable TV themes was for The Rockford Files.
I still have the first A-Team novel and a the 3 issue Marvel Comics miniseries. A missed chance was to have The A-Team cross paths with G. I. Joe.
As for the violence seen, it wasn't different from that seen in other shows like The Six Million Dollar Man; in that series, Lee Majors himself requested that the show be family oriented without any violence as well.
Too bad The A-Team never crossed paths with MacGyver as well.

no one ever really associated "i pity the fool" with the A-Team, it was always Mr. T.'s catchphrase, even parodied by himself

I have a mint condition action figure of the character "Face" still in it's blister card package.
I got it for 80 cents at the ARC thrift store back in 1996.
Still have it😊

Peppard seems a diva with Mr T not far behind, but he seemed to redeem himself later in life .

Did anyone notice how even after horrible crashes the bad guys always run away. Nobody ever got hurt on this series.

I think Liam neeson played an amazing Hannibal, perfect for the role. A-team was my favourite show growing up.

Peppard & Mr T were at odds with each other over who’s the biggest star???
HM Murdock was by far the best character 👍

I read somewhere that Dirk Benidict got the inspiration for his surname from the dish, Eggs Benedict.

My favorite character was Murdock. Dwight Schultz was actually the best actor on the show. Versatile, he was the only character that demonstrated more sides to his personality than just 2. He could sing, and despite his joking around he could be very serious when the situation asked for it.

the GMC A team van...in the tv series A.team the producers toned down the glossy paintwork finish ...so tv cameras etc won't be seen in the vans paintwork when. Filming began as before it was easy to spot cameras etc in the glossy vans shine 😁
