This song still gives me chills. From the guitar riff of picking rather than strumming, Eric Burdon’s voice. Raw, honest and seasoned way beyond his years, and Alan Price’s indescribable magic on the keyboard make this the best modern day rendition of any blues song ever recorded.

The Animals are legend. I would love to see them live. I loved their gritty bluesy sound of their early days in the mid ‘60s. I don’t think they ever really got the recognition they deserved, they kind of got overshadowed by the (also great) Beatles and the Stones

Ive just spent an hour trying to find "real" documentaries and not 4 minute excerpts. I'm pretty savvy with software but I swear to god Google's new search algorithms have made things a nightmare...just about smashed my tablet after looking as I said for and hour for the Nice. There's a BBC vid but I'll be famed if I can find one that use BBC players...time to go back to books, magazines and letters.
