One thing I'll never understand is people who think EVERYONE should have kids. I definitely want to be a parent, but I also know that people who don't want kids should not be forced to have them!

The ALS story: wife should make sure therapist knows his ALS isn't real. He may have told them he has it but not said anything about all the tests being negative. The therapist may be trying to help him cope with a diagnosis he doesn't have rather than dealing with the delusion.

Hey someone with OCD here, hypochondriac tendencies and health related obsessed tend to be one of the most common themes experienced by those with OCD. While normally going to a doctor and hearing that you don’t have said symptoms would be a relief, for those with OCD what actually ends up happening is that we only get temporary relief, but then we start to worry and obsess again making us having to repeat the compulsion cycle.

Post 5, a baby born with addiction WILL be a challenge. One of my daughter’s besties from special needs play group was born addicted to a heavy narcotic, he’s being raised by his grandmother. Our first play date at her house she cried explaining how he was normally pretty nonverbal, but he was chatting away with my daughter ❤

Aw man the guy with OCD, it sounds like he's suffering some very serious intrusive and obsessive thoughts and it's taken over his life. OCD can be far reaching and effect our lives in ways worlds away from the stereotype. I do hope he gets into an inpatient program or is able to be honest with his therapist about how invasive these thoughts are. Sympathies for the wife who's had to watch the worst of OCD and potentially watched her husband's obsessive behaviors ruin their marriage :(

"I'm stopping for a strudel" will be my go to any time I'm late from now on.

For story 2, the ALS thing is probably part of the OCD because true clinical OCD includes obsessive thinking and can be incredibly debilitating.

The way Vincey said, “I, twenty-o–TWENTY-ONE!? Twenty-one female…” captured my feelings so well

Wedding dress story reminds me on the one where mother lost an infant daughter, before OP were even born, and sister had to be included or overshadow to the point of them being borderline neglected or put down, at every celebration, milestone or someone else giving them attention. And mom going beserk when OP finally chose a hill to die on refusing when mom started doing the same to his toddler daughter

Story 2: That is some BAD OCD if everyone qualified in the world can tell him he doesn't have it and he still is convinced. I wonder if his psychiatrist even knows how bad it all is.

I've never been this early, but since he showed his cat, it's cat joke time. Do you know what you call a pile of cats? A meowtain.

Plot twist, Mia is alive and he’s been forcing everybody to be obsessed with her for 30 years

The story about Mia is sad because that’s not how you remember someone. It’s impacting everyone, her memory is not away to try and create “new” memories with.

Also you could use your cats faces to cover up the curse words

My friend adopted a baby born addicted to H. It's not easy. It's fucking hard. He had very much support (two partners and many friends living together) and still struggled a lot. Plus, the whole not actually wanting the kid. OP made the right decision

Chia is the perfect way to start everything! Life? Chia. The day? Chia. The episode? Chia.

1:58 I want "I'm stopping for a strudel" as my ringtone. Something about your delivery absolutely killed me. What a wonderful start to my day! And always happy to see a kitty.

Anyone else love his voice? I always have his videos playing for background noise or when I’m doing chores, it really helps and the stories are wild/interesting 🦋

Story 1 has something, I don't know how to describe it, but something that makes it a little bit funny to listen to.
The plot of the story is so silly
