Wormholes, Black Holes and Entanglement
Wormholes are spacetime configurations connecting distant spacetime regions. We will discuss the types of wormholes that are allowed by general relativity coupled to quantum field theory. While non-traversable wormholes occur as simple solutions, traversable ones are also possible. However, these traversable wormholes do not allow us to travel faster than light thanks to an interesting interplay between properties of quantum matter and general relativity. We will also mention the idea connecting these wormholes to entangled states.
