The atmosphere in this game is something else. The music, the sounds, the lightning, the smoke effects, ....you are already on edge without any alien. It just feels so scary man.

This game is in a whole different level. Ever since Dead Space, I didn't think I would encounter another sci-fi horror game as good. And then they release this gem... Not only my absolute favorite genre, but from a franchise so dear to me, since I'm a very early 80's kid.

All the oppressive atmosphere of Dead Space, the aggressively uninviting settings, but now take away your ability to fight back and add an invincible enemy with an unpredictable mind of its own. I personally cannot play this game anymore. This is as far as I go with horror games, as my heart health doesn't agree with it unfortunately. But I did manage to finish it once and I will forever remember the impact that it made in my gaming world. Everything about this game design is beautiful in an eerie and horrible way. A masterpiece.

This company nailed so much in the game where others lacked, it attained an authentic experience within the aliens universe, I have a few random disagreements but they did a great job. The fact there was no sequels is criminal.
