Really don’t like the way infotainment is heading in cars. These touch screens are becoming absurd.

TBH ...i preferred the old classy design with buttons and knobes....all touch infotainment really while

Just to be clear: Besides the screens, the final all-new Mercedes S-Class interior will feature more and different design elements, this mockup / seating demo didn't include air vents etc.

What's with the huge bezels on the displays? They should be near on edge to edge the displays nowadays, it looks cheap and tacky with a piano black bezel and cheap plastic piano black centre console. I had a C Class with the piano black interior trim and most of it scratched when you looked at it.

Am i the only one that thinks two tablets slapped on the driver instrument panel and center console looks like crap? Oddly enough, new escalade instrument cluster/center entertainment setup seems like the logical next step (Not sure about the OLED longetivity)

Car makers need to stop this trend of no buttons...buttons work far better when you’re on the move, a screen invariably means you have to take your eyes off the road.

the last s class was too perfect ..

that looks like a tesla copy

The bezels on the displays are way too large. They look like tacky old android tablets made with cheap plastic.

God I hate touch screen in cars. At least make the climate control usable with physical buttons

So sad to see. This new interior looks absolutely horrific. Everything looks extremely cheap and tacky, who the f%$# wants so many screens in their car, it's absolutely pointless and I'm sure 90% of owners will only use them to do the basic things such as carplay which nearly every new car has nowadays. All my range rovers have had the screens however they were never used. It's so sad to see that the new 'luxury' is screens and technology. Take me back the days when luxury was determined by the quality of materials used instead! was so excited for the new S63, however, I feel like the best option is the 2020 S63, as it is absolutely gorgeous and built well!

Really disappointing Mercedes.

So we can’t use a mobile, but instead of intuitive buttons dial we now have a tablet not in our eye line meaning I have to take my eye of the road...terrible...I hate this trend, please just all a car be a driving tool

I love technology but, quite frankly, if this is the future look of the Mercedes cockpit it is ugly.
It looks like Mercedes have bought a bulk load of iPads and stuck them to the dashboard.

Whilst I generally like the new tech (and the AR looks to have great potential), car manufacturers have got to get out of this "technology for technologies sake" Anyone who has tried to use some of these touch sliders on the move know it's a seriously BAD It seems MB (like other premium car makers) are intent on removing all rotary controls.... yet good ones are unbeatable. We need some common sense

Thanks for the info on the new MBUX mock-up demo, AJ. Good to see you. Sorry to hear of your glider prang! All the best. And what's this about preparing an all-new service for us? Is that a YouTube change, or Autogefuhl change? Don't change Thomas!

Mercedes is lost. Big screen looks cheap and no design at all.

Are the interior plastics still going to creak and rattle like in the current Mercs?
