ilysm you’re lovely, you are seen in every little ounce of intention you put into this content and you’re also so cool headed and detail oriented with going through everything anyone could ever ask. if you were my teacher, I would actually absorb everything (psa to do a masterclass)

Thank you so much for this video! It’s clear you put a lot of time and effort into creating these sugaring videos, and I just want to say that it doesn’t go unnoticed

I live in the Caribbean where it's reeeaally hot most days, recently I tried making a semi hard sugar wax which I though would work after doing the cold plate test (it deceived me lol). The room temp wax worked well enough for the first two pulls, but by the third it turned into a sticky mess. I tweaked the jar of sugar wax I had left a little bit (cooking it for several minutes more) until it was really hard, like I nearly broke a finger trying to dig some out lol, and to my delight it's now perfect (for me). Since I used Jamaican brown sugar my final wax is really dark, but it definitely does the job. I'm really happy I found your channel because you explain all the little details so well, I feel like I can pull off this waxing thing at home. 😁

I think my sugar waxer isn’t using proper technique. I started sugaring after I saw your video on waxing facial hair. You were able to get those small, coarse hairs. My waxer chooses to use tweezers for those hairs & I’m starting to notice more ingrowns. Not only am I seeing more ingrowns, but the hair grows back much quicker.

I didn’t have this issue with bead/hard wax. I don’t want to give up on sugaring, but it’s a frustrating journey. This video came on time, I’ve been thinking that I wanna try to practice at home until I get it right and get the results I want or go back to bead/hard wax. Until I can do laser hair removal. 😩

Pray for me y’all. Unwanted facial hair is something I wish for no one.

I just made strip sugar based on this video. I’ve never waxed or sugared my legs at home before. Recently tried an epilator for the first time, but much of my leg hair was to fine for it. The strip sugar worked so well! It got just about everything. If get better at it I think I could be just about where I was when I shaved.

This was so helpful! Thank you so much!

I’m so glad you’re reviewing this! I use the bead wax but I’ve heard a lot of good things about sugar wax (just too scared to try lol) but I just might now! ☺️💜

I've been experimenting with those store bought wax strips and they were all fails, this video has been really informative and it's motivating me to make my own. Thanks for sharing 👍

Okay this is what I have learnt is that if you are a beginner I will say use strip sugar, it's easy to handle and make and there is no error of it being to firm, it's simple and there is no learning curve on how to handle it with your hands. Bets option in my opinion

I strictly wax… but haven’t waxed my leg hairs in like a year. This is motivating me to make my own sugar wax because I’m tired of paying to get it done, and I also seriously hate that the hairs feel like spiders crawling on my legs just when I walk… that’s how long they are. 😂

I just attempted to do this two days ago and it took me so long to get the right consistency 😭 I used one of your old videos as a guide and kept doing the testing and waiting and taking the mixture off the stove method, afterwards which I got a firm wax. It’s currently winter going into spring where I am and I have really coarse hair which I guess would make that consistency ideal? I have been going to professionals to sugar my underarms for awhile now but I’m a bit low on money so I thought I’d try it at home and your videos have motivated me to do so so thank you! I will try it out with the firm wax I made two days ago today and see how it goes! 🤞🏽

Hello,
Thank you for this in-depth explanation on when and how to use the different sugar waxes! I know we have a thousand questions on this topic. I was wondering, if you don’t mind of course, sharing your skincare routine and shower routine. I know the products that you use are probably very high quality and would love to see them.
Thanks for all you do,
Erin

If it's not too much trouble, can you make a video showing the different consistencies of soft/firm/hard wax and what each one looks like when used on the body? I know you kind of touched on it in this video but I would love an in-depth visual comparison as a beginner to sugar waxing. It's hard for me to gauge which wax I've made and what kind of viscosity I should expect 🥲

Thank you for all of your sugar wax tutorials and for continuing to respond to questions about this topic!

Living in AZ I almost exclusively make hard sugar; I think I get more done with less. Once it reaches triple digits here, I just put the jar in the warmest room of the house to soften through the day. During the "cooler" months my rice cooker doubles as a sugar jar warmer.

I started sugaring after watching your videos and it's a lifechanger. I used a phillips machine to "strip hairs" (I called it "Epilady"). Tough I can´t always get the consistency I want (sometimes it´s too hard and sometimes I have to use cotton strips), it helped with my ingrowns! Here in Argentina is very popular the "Brazilian" and removing hair in those areas without ingrowns is a miracle.
Lots of love and keep making this videos, you are so real and honest I admire you!

I love your videos and your way of teaching. Thank you for every video and your lovely self. As a side note I've had kp (keratosis pilaris) on my arms for as long as I can remember. (You mentioned you have kp in one or 2 vids) I've found supplementing with a decent B complex has helped immensely and for the first time in my life my arms are smooth. It took a month or 2. I hope this helps, i know our bodies are all unique xoxxo

You are so helpful! I really appreciate your hard work and research you out in, and not trying to make your video super glamorous like some DIY beauty channels (aka NOT real, NOT helpful)
