Really love the fact that you took the time to measure the deflection! Thanks for taking the effort to do that.

Awesome job measuring the deflection, never seen that done before. Excited to see more parts you come up with

Nice Vid...ordered the NappMotorsports Brake Cylinder Brace in response for my 1990 NA Miata.

Quick shipping -- here in Two days; very high-quality construction of Brace, clean welds and durable powdercoated paint.

As for the modification to the Air Box...it required shearing off pretty much ALL of the bolt hole in the upper right corner of the Air Box for clearance to fit in my Miata. There are still four other bolts holding the Air Box together tightly...so missing one is really not an issue.

Happy with this relatively "cheap" upgrade to my brake system. RECOMMENDED !!

Hi from the UK. Cool piece of kit. On my 1989 1.6, the brake servo's on the other side where you are working; I have a washer bottle.

Thanks a lot for the before and after with the pressure gauge, and the video itself. I've just installed one from Jass performance and I was a bit dissapointed to see a tiny bit of movement after the install, same amount of yours, so yeah, your vid made me feel confident that it was all fine, plus, I could tell the difference on brake pedal feel when braking when I took it out for a spin and errands.

Another benefit is the reduction in metal fatigue. Although unlikely that the firewall snaps if it did it could cause a crash and definitely need a tow and welding.
Fatigue invites rust also.

Now that I'm VVT swapping my NA6, I'm definitely interested in that intake! Can't wait to see what comes next!

Keep your quality (design and build) on par with this master cylinder brace and I’m sure you’ll do great!

Did my "Bike fix" in the '70's with a 750cc Triumph Trident 3 cyl. ;) Wife says "NO" now. I have a Flyin' Miata strut brace, so I'll take some measurements to see what's feasible for this.

By doing this, you will probably be putting more pressure on your brake lines, so you might check those for wear and maybe replace with braided lines for a little more power to the brakes on top.

Another great video and product! You still have the best NA KSwap intake solution.

Tightening shock tower bolts while applying pressure on brakes would help minimising free play and preloading the bracket

Great video - especially showing a measurement of the deflection. It might seem small but it can definitely dampen the feel of the brakes. (I've already got a DaveFab version as I have a 3-point front strut brace).
Sad to hear that there'll be fewer videos, as I really like your content, but I totally understand that you want to take your channel in a slightly different direction. It's probably more efficient to upload to IG and FB rather than YT. Personally I think the YT format provides for a more polished product and better to watch than the other 2.
I definitely will keep subscribed and wait for whatever you put

Can you make one for the NB2 with the stock shock tower brace? Pretty please?

Great video and explanation! Compared to other common brake upgrades like stainless lines, Wilwoods, etc. how does the master cylinder brace feel in comparison? Would you prioritize this first?

Complimenta for the video, I was curious if the ND has the same problem and I tried, no flex at all.

Hi there,
First I want to thank you for your
videos they are very helpful. The other thing is I have mx5 Mk1 and did a complete suspension refeb, its1992 import, that's include complete set of bushes, new tie rods etc, the problem I am having now is alignment, as first time I haven't done the mesurments right !! 😀 we learn from mistakes. So now my wheel is touching the lower arm when turning to full 😒, I am sure it's to do with inner tie rod alignment? I appreciate if you could advise me with that .
By the way it's the driver side wich is the right side as am from the UK.
Thank you & keep the good work .👍

So let me ask did you measure the amount the outer half of the booster as compared to the inner half, it sure looked to me that this where the deflection was coming from, not the firewall.
