GDipPA stands for Graduate Diploma in Professional Accounting and it is an accelerated 12-week summer program that earns you the equivalent of four modules in the CPA Professional Education Program (PEP)! Normally, the 4 modules would take 8 months to complete if you are doing it at your own pace.

In essence, to obtain your CPA designation you will need to complete all of the following:
1. Academic Prerequisites - Must be completed before you can enrol into a CPA body.
2. CPA Professional Education Program (PEP) - Must complete 4 modules and 2 capstones.
3. Practical Experience - Must complete 30-months of practical work experience.
4. Common Final Examination (CFE) - Must pass all 3 days of the exam.

GDipPa allows you to expedite your studying journey by compressing 4 of your core modules into 3 months rather than 1 year (the typical path). It was the best professional and academic decision I could have ever made for myself coming out of undergrad. I hope to pass on this opportunity to you as well!

So Inspiring !!! I will be joining Schulich School of Business soon and would be writing CFE thereafter. May I know if it's easy to get entry into BIG4s these days as accountants/senior staff accountant taking into consideration the challenging job market situation here in Canada? Your insights can really be very helpful
