Why is this version of the song not on spotify, i love the original but something about this version

This extended scene is so incredible, I think the fact that the entire song plays and it's so repetitive (although amazing and catchy of course) emphasizes the monotony of touring, and the boredom and irritability they felt. I also think Taron portrays the emotions present in this montage beautifully, showcasing a young adult who is finally experiencing a sexuality awakening but doesn't know what to do about it. Fantastic extended number. I wish this song made it on the soundtrack album, especially with the two different lead singers.

Saw Johnny Johnson and the Bandwagon perform the original of this song, supporting Junior Walker and the All Stars at the Mecca, Bradford in 1970, tickets 10 shillings, couldn’t get a bag of crisps for that now.
