WARNING EXPENSIVE PLUG-IN REQUIRED!
I agree that the necessary plug-in used to make the actual effect needed to be stated in the intro not over half way though the tutorial - especially when Trapcode's Particular alone currently costs an individual $400 and the entire Trapcode Suite costs $1000. That price tag is way above what most people who are coming to a video like this are willing to spend.
Although I do appreciate a lot of your other tutorials - just wanted to let others coming to this know before they spend a bunch of time unaware.

Thanks for the tut, but why would you go so deep in it, then say "if you don't have this plug in, you can't follow along"? The whole point of me picking and choosing your tut was for that glittering gold effect.

One Question.

I downloaded Perfect Glow Preset from your website and added it on my AE successfully. But when I drag and drop it on the Glow Layer you created in this project, after adding in the Glow layer, Glow Main is fine but Glow 2, 3 and 4 sections in the Perfect Glow Preset are showing these 3 options in RED.
Glow threshold
Glow radius
Glow intensity, values are all red and unable to change.

why is this happening?
